I am excited to announce that I will be participating in The Wild Animal Sanctuary Earth Day event on April 22nd, 2017!
The Wild Animal Sanctuary provides homes for a wide range of animals that either weren't being properly taken care of or were relinquished. They currently have more than 450 rescued lions, tigers, bears, wolves and other large carnivores, along with large birds, porcupines, camels, and many other animals roaming freely on 750 acres of land.
At "Wild Earth Day" visitors are invited to bring potted trees, shrubs, or plants to donate to the animals and Sanctuary staff will utilize whatever you donate to embellish one or more of the 60+ habitats. The donations of natural plants aren't mandatory, but are a great way to help green the planet while providing more natural landscaping for the animals. If you do decide to bring a donation I will give you 10% off your purchase in my booth!
